Cuba

I can't start talking or writing about Cuba without starting to hear the music and the sounds of the streets in my head, and then I freeze, I close my eyes and let the memories of this magical island flood my mind. A lot have been said and written about Cuba, about the revolution, about communism, about Fidel, about Che, about cigars and rum, about the changes that take place in recent years. But for me, Cuba is about the people of Cuba, about the kids and life on the streets, about the innocence and kindness, about happiness in places where a modern man will find it hard to believe that there can be happiness and about the music. I let my photography do the rest of the talking.
